Return to Cricket 2017 PosterReturn to Cricket is an initiative run by the Golden Fleece Cricket Club, Whitley aimed at encouraging players, old and new, to get back into the game of cricket.

For 8 sessions starting on 19th February and running every Sunday evening until 9th April you can meet up with existing Golden Fleece players in a fun and informal atmosphere, receive free coaching by a Level 3 coach and then practice what you’ve picked up in the nets.

The sessions are free for people who are returning to cricket although any existing club players are welcome (who pay £3 to help cover expenses as our Return to Cricket sessions are solely funded by the club). The sessions are indoors so you only need to bring trainers as all equipment is provided (although you may want to bring your own box).

The Golden Fleece Cricket Club is a social cricket club based in Whitley, near Melksham, who play mainly on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons for purely social reasons. No leagues, no prima donnas, no pressure – just fun! So if you want to get involved with playing cricket – either as a new comer to the sport or as a player who would like to get back into the game – then you would be more than welcome to join us for one, all or as many of the sessions as you like.

If you are interested in coming to any of the sessions and to give us an idea of numbers, please fill out this simple form. We may contact you with updates or session reminders:
